رفضت إدارة متوسطة رأس بعلبك الرسمية، يوم أمس الثلاثاء، استقبال عائلات سورية نزحت جراء القصف الإسرائيلي، واستدعت الجيش لطردها بالقوة.
من تابع مقابلات محافظ بعلبك- الهرمل بشير خضر، منذ بدء العدوان على لبنان، يعلم جيداً تحريضه ضد السماح للسوريين/ات بالنزوح إلى قرى المحافظة، متذرعاً برفض سكان هذه البلدات استقبالهم/ن مقابل ترحيبهم/ن بالنازحين/ن اللبنانيين/ات، كأنه بلا سلطة ولا دور، أو غير راغب بتحمل أي مسؤولية تجاه المعرضين/ات للخطر.
لكن الواقع، وما جرى بعد طرد العائلات السورية من المدرسة، يكذب خضر ومن روج أمس من وسائل الإعلام لترحيب «فعاليات وأهالي رأس بعلبك» بعملية الطرد المخزية هذه. فما إن أقفل باب المدرسة في وجه هذه العائلات، حتى فتحت عشرات الأبواب في بلدتي رأس بعلبك والفاكهة لاستقبالهم/ن.
الخزي والعار لكل متواطئ ومتخاذل عن حماية أهلنا من اللبنانيين/ات والسوريين/ات.
Ras Baalbek school Calls on Army to Expel Syrians who have Sought Refuge There
The administration of the Ras Baalbek Official Intermediate School refused, on Tuesday, to accept Syrian families who had fled due to Israeli shelling, and called the army to evict them by force.
Anyone who has followed the interviews of Baalbek-Hermel Governor Bashir Khodr since the onset of the aggression against Lebanon is well aware of his incitement against allowing Syrians to seek refuge in the villages of the governorate. He claims that the residents of these towns refuse to welcome them despite their openness to displaced Lebanese, as if he has no authority or role, or is reluctant to take responsibility for those in danger.
However, the reality of what happened after the expulsion of the Syrian families from the school contradicts Khodr and those in the media who promoted the idea that “figures and residents of Ras Baalbek” welcomed this shameful eviction. As soon as the school doors were closed to these families, dozens of doors in the towns of Ras Baalbek and Fakiha opened to welcome them.
Shame and disgrace to all those who collude or neglect to protect our people, both Lebanese and Syrians.
