واحد من الأجوبة الجديدة: نراقب خطوطهم/ن الهاتفية ونتعقبهم/ن.
هذا اقتراح الحملة الوطنية لإعادة النازحين السوريين (وهي حملة عنصرية تحريضية)، الذي قدمته إلى وزير الاتصالات جوني القرم، الجمعة في 10 أيار 2024.
ووفق ما قال منسق الحملة مارون الخولي، «ناقشنا مع وزير الاتصالات ضرورة تسجيل المشتركين من النازحين السوريين غير المسجلين على الشبكة الخليوية، عبر الحصول على معلوماتهم الشخصية وعناوين سكنهم وأماكن عملهم، بهدف تحسين إحصاء النازحين السوريين المستخدمين للخطوط الخليوية».
والهدف الأبعد من ذلك، «تطوير تطبيق خاص يعمل على رصد وتتبع حركة النازحين وتنظيم تواجدهم في المحافظات المختلفة (…). يمكن اعتبار هذا التطبيق مشابهاً لتطبيقات التتبع التي استخدمتها الصين خلال جائحة كورونا. [وذلك من أجل] مساعدة السلطات في فهم انتشار النازحين السوريين وتوجيه الجهود بفعالية أكبر لمكافحة الجريمة وضمان الأمن العام».
ونقل الخولي عن القرم «استعداده الفوري لمعالجة هذا الموضوع، وطلب من المختصين في الوزارة وضع تقرير حول الأرقام الخاصة بالسوريين ليصار إلى ترتيبها وفق ما هو شرعي أو غير شرعي، على أن تتواصل الاتصالات بين الحملة والوزير القرم لمتابعة هذا الأمر».

What is the solution to the presence of Syrians in Lebanon?
One of the new answers: We monitor their phone lines and track them.
This is a proposal from the National Campaign for the Syrian Refugees Return (a discriminatory and provocative campaign), presented to Minister of Telecommunications Johnny Al-Qorom on Friday, May 10, 2024.
According to the campaign coordinator Maroun al-Khawli, “We discussed with the Minister of Telecommunications the necessity of registering unregistered Syrian refugee subscribers on the cellular network, by obtaining their personal information, addresses, and workplaces, with the aim of improving the census of Syrian refugees using cellular lines.”
The broader goal of this is to “develop a dedicated application that monitors and tracks the movement of refugees and organizes their presence in various provinces (…). This application can be considered similar to the tracking applications used by China during the coronavirus pandemic. [This is] to assist authorities in understanding the spread of Syrian refugees and directing efforts more effectively to combat crime and ensure public security.”
Al-Khawli quoted Qorom as expressing “readiness to address this issue immediately, and he requested that experts in the ministry prepare a report on the numbers of Syrians to be arranged according to what is legal or illegal. Communication between the campaign and Minister Qorom will continue to follow up on this matter.”
