نتائج التحريض: اعتداء على سوريين في الأشرفية

فجر الأحد، في الأول من تشرين الأول، قرر ثلاثة شبان من منطقة الأشرفية أن بإمكانهم التجول في المنطقة والاعتداء على الناس.

أول هذه الاعتداءات الموثقة استهدفت شابين سوريين بالضرب والإهانة والإذلال، لمدة ساعة متواصلة في فسوح. ولم يكتف الشبان بضربهما بل حملوا هواتفهم لتوثيق هذا الاعتداء أيضاً.

سكان المنطقة الذين استيقظوا على الصراخ، عند الساعة الرابعة والنصف فجراً، لم يحركوا ساكناً، بل وقفوا على شرفاتهم يتفرجون على هذه البشاعة. لكن امرأة قررت أخيراً الاتصال بالدرك، إلا أن أحداً لم يجب.

بعد انتهائهم من الاعتداء على الشابين، مرت بقربهم فتاة مع شاب، فقرر أحدهم التحرش بها وقال لرفاقه «ليك شو طيبة» وبدأوا بملاحقتهما، إلا أنهما استطاعا الهرب منهم.

لاحقاً، عبرت سيارة في الشارع، فقرر الشبان الثلاثة اعتراض طريقها وترهيب سائقها. وبعدما تبيّن لهم أنه لبناني بدأوا بالضحك سوياً.

On Sunday morning, October 1st, three young men from the Ashrafieh area decided they could roam the neighborhood and assault people. The first documented attack targeted two Syrian young men, subjected to an hour-long ordeal of physical assault, humiliation, and degradation in the streets. The assailants were proud enough to record the assault via their phones.

Residents of the area who woke up to the screams at 4:30am, didn’t intervene but stood on their balconies, watching this horror unfold. Finally, a woman decided to contact the police, but received no response.

After they finished assaulting the two young men, a woman and a man were walking by, when one of the attackers decided to harass the girl, using a slang language, “Sweet ass!” and they began to chase them.

Fortunately, the two managed to escape. Later, a car passed by on the street, so the three young men decided to block its path and intimidate the driver. However, once the driver told them he was Lebanese, they all burst into laughter.
