خلال الأسبوع الماضي، واصل الجيش اللبناني مداهماته التعسفية لتجمعات سكانية ومخيمات لللاجئين/ات السوريين/ات في محافظتي البقاع وبعلبك- الهرمل. وقد شملت المداهمات مخيمات في عرسال، طيبة، بوداي، يونين، كفردان وقب الياس، على الأقل.
تتشابه هذه المداهمات في مصادرة الجيش لأجهزة الراوتر والطاقة الشمسية، «كتدبير احترازي بهدف عدم الإقامة الطويلة بما يصب في عملية التوطين»، كما كتب موقع تلفزيون الجديد في خبر مداهمة مخيم في طيبة.
وفي 14 أيلول 2023، تداولت مواقع إخبارية محلية صوراً قالت إنها لمضبوطات مداهمة «عدد من مخيمات النازحين السوريين في قب الياس». وتضمنت أجهزة كمبيوتر شخصية، شاشة، بلايستيشن ودرون، بالإضافة إلى أجهزة وقطع إلكترونية أخرى، لا يوحي شكلها بالخطر الذي قد تسببه.
وكان الجيش أعلن، في 16 أيلول 2023، أنه أوقف «خلال الأسبوع الحالي 43 سورياً، لدخولهم خلسة إلى لبنان وتجولهم من دون أوراق ثبوتية»، خلال مداهمته لعدد من المخيمات في منطقة البقاع.
Ongoing Arbitrary Army Raids
During the past week, the Lebanese army continued its arbitrary raids on residential areas and Syrian refugee camps in Bekaa and Baalbek- Hermal provinces. These raids included at least the camps in Arsal, Taibeh, Bouday, Younin, Kfardan and Qab Elias.
These raids appear to involve the army confiscating routers and solar panels as a “precautionary measure to prevent long-term residency, which is in line with the localization process,” as reported by Al Jadeed TV titled by a raid in Taiba camp.
On September 14, 2023, local news websites circulated photos of confiscated items assumed to be the result of raids on “several Syrian refugee camps in Qab Elias”. The confiscations included personal computers, monitor, Playstation and drone as well as other electronic devices whose appearance does not suggest the danger it may pose.
On September 16, 2023, the Lebanese army announced that it had arrested “43 Syrians during the current week for entering Lebanon illegally and roaming without identification documents” during raids on several camps in the Bekaa region.
