كيف تتحول أخبار بشأن العثور على عدد من الأطفال المُتخلى عنهم/ن إلى مسألة مرتبطة باللاجئين/ات السوريين/ات؟
طوني خوري، الصحافي في موقع النشرة، وحده عرف كيف يربط بين المسألتين، في مقال بعنوان «مؤشر خطير: اللبنانيون يرمون أولادهم والسوريون يقبضون»، نشر في 21 تموز 2023. هذا دليل نباهة، أكيد. فهو يسأل، بعد أن يجزم أن الأطفال الذين عُثر عليهم/ن من اللبنانيين/ات، لماذا لا يتخلص السوريون/ات من أولادهم/ن أيضاً؟
«اللافت أنه في حين من المتوقع أن يكون بين هؤلاء الأطفال سوريون، إلا أنه وفق ما هو معلوم، فإنهم لا ينتمون إلى الجنسية السورية. ويسأل المرء عن السبب الذي يجعل السوريين أفضل من اللبنانيين في هذا المجال، والأجوبة عديدة. وفيما نرغب جميعاً في الدفع نحو حس الإنسانية لدى السوريين، من المنطقي طرح سؤال عن حالة النازحين السوريين الذين يؤكد المجتمع الدولي أنها كارثية في لبنان، فلماذا لا يتشبّه السوريون باللبنانيين في هذا المجال؟».
الجواب سهل: حال السوريين/ات، وفق خوري، أفضل من اللبنانيين/ات، لأنهم/ن يتلقون مساعدات. لا بل إن «الأمم المتحدة تدفع للنازحين على الأولاد، وبالتالي فإن التخلص من ولد لا يعود بالفائدة على الأهل، لا بل ينعكس عليهم سلباً»، مستنداً في هذا الرأي الرهيب إلى «أحد المنتمين إلى المنظمات غير الحكومية التي تتعامل مع المجتمع الدولي». نباهة ودقة أكيد.
عليه، كما جاء في خلاصة خوري، نحن أمام مؤشر خطير: التغيير الديمغرافي وتهديد وجود لبنان وهويته «التي لطالما اشتهر بها في العالم».
Al-Nashra: The Lebanese throw their children while the Syrians get paid
How to turn the news of the discovery of several abandoned babies into a Syrian refugee issue?
The only person who could connect these two things is al-Nashra journalist, Tony Khoury, who wrote an article titled “A Dangerous Indicator: The Lebanese Throw Their Children while the Syrians Get Paid” on July 21, 2023. This is unquestionably evidence of his intelligence.
He was certain that the children who were discovered were Lebanese, so wondered what’s the reason behind Syrians not getting rid of theirs.
“It is noteworthy that although it is anticipated that among these children there might be Syrians, what is getting spread indicates that there is not. There are numerous answers for why Syrians excel in this regard over Lebanese people.
While we all want to encourage the displaced Syrians to develop a sense of humanity, it is logical to ask a question about their situation in Lebanon, which the international community assures is catastrophic, so why are the Syrians not like the Lebanese in this regard?”.
The answer is simple. According to Khoury, the reason that the situation of the Syrians is better than that of the Lebanese is because they receive aid. In fact, “the UN pays the displaced Syrians for every child, so getting rid of the babies is of no help to the parents, but rather it has a negative impact.”
He sourced his awful opinion on “one of the non-governmental organizations that deal with the international community”. Absolute accuracy and truthfulness.
Therefore, as stated in Khoury’s conclusion, we are confronted with a dangerous indicator: demographic change and a threat to Lebanon’s existence and identity, “for which it has always been well-known in the world”.
