عنصرية ضد السوريين/ات في النبطية بمناسبة عاشوراء

قرر محافظ النبطية حسن فقيه، خلال اجتماع لمجلس الأمن الفرعي في النبطية، الثلاثاء في 11 تموز 2023، منع تجول اللاجئين/ات السوريين/ات مساء «عند البدء بالمراسم»، في المدينة ومنطقتها، طيلة أيام عاشوراء، وذلك ضمن ما وصفه بـ«الإجراءات الأمنية المواكبة لإحياء ذكرى عاشوراء في النبطية». 

كما منع المحافظ «الأجانب»، كما جاء في البيان الذي نشرته الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام، من الدخول إلى النبطية طيلة أيام عاشوراء إلا بتصاريح صادرة عن سرية درك النبطية.

Racism against Syrians in al-Nabatieh during Ashura

On Tuesday, July 11, during a meeting of the Sub-Security Council in Al-Nabatieh, its governor, Hasan Fakih, made the decision to forbid Syrian refugees from circulating around the city and its region throughout the period of “Ashura”, in the evening, “when the ceremonies begin”.

He described his decision as being part of the “security procedures complementing the commemoration of Ashura in al-Nabatieh”.

The statement released by the National Information Agency also bans “foreigners”, from entering al-Nabatieh during those days, without a permit from its Gendarmerie Brigade.
