لا يمكن تلخيص المؤتمر الصحافي الذي عقده رئيس الاتحاد العام لنقابات عمال لبنان العنصري مارون الخولي، للإعلان عن «الخطوة الثانية» لحملة «تحرير لبنان من الاحتلال الديمغرافي السوري». كان مزيجاً من الأوهام والمبالغة في تقدير الذات وتأثيرها، المخلوط بالعنصرية وكثير من الحماقة، والمرفق بدروس في الديمغرافيا والوطنية والسيادة. وقد اخترنا لكم/ن 3 حماقات تفوه بها. 

It isn’t possible to sum up the press conference that was held by the racist president of the General Federation of Lebanese Trade Unions, Maroun el-Khaouli, to announce the “second phase” of the campaign to “liberate Lebanon from the Syrian demographic occupation”. It was filled with delusions, exaggerated self-respect, racism and plenty of stupidity, all combined together with lessons about demography, patriotism and sovereignty.
