في 5 أيار 2023، نشر موقع Lebanon on خبراً عنوانه «ضبط أسلحة داخل مخيمات للنازحين السوريين»، جاء فيه: «في إطار تنظيم مخيمات النزوح السوري واتخاذ التدابير الاحترازية حفاظاً على الأمن، علم موقع LebanonOn أنه تم العثور في بعض المداهمات على أسلحة داخل المخيمات. وتمت مصادرتها وإجراء المقتضى القانوني بحق من كان يمتلكها».
موقع Lebanon on، التحريضي، هو نفسه الموقع الذي نشر الخبر الكاذب والملفق بشأن ذبح سوريين لكلاب وبيعها كلحوم صالحة للأكل في بلدتي دير شمرا والمياسة (المتن الشمالي)، لكن يبدو أنه هذه المرة تعلم الدرس جيداً. فلا ذكر لتاريخ المداهمات، ولا الجهة الأمنية التي نفذتها، ولا حتى أسماء المخيمات والمناطق التي عثر فيها على الأسلحة.
هذا كذب أقل مخاطرة من خبر الكلاب، حيث كانت تفاصيله الدقيقة (بما في ذلك عدد الموقوفين) تهدف إلى جعله يبدو حقيقياً، ما ساهم في تداوله، لكن التفاصيل نفسها كانت مدخلاً لتكذيبه أيضاً.
وحتى الساعة، لم تعلن الأجهزة الأمنية عن العثور على أسلحة في المخيمات. وهي -كما نعتقد- لن تتردد لحظة في الإعلان والاحتفاء بذلك.
Lebanon On learns from its mistakes
On the 5th of May, 2023, an article entitled “Weapons seized inside displaced Syrians’ camps,” was published on Lebanon On website. It stated “Within the framework of systematizing the camps of the displaced Syrians and taking preventive measures to preserve security, Lebanon On learned that during some raids there, weapons were discovered. They were confiscated and necessary legal action was taken against whoever owned them.”
Lebanon On, the site of incitement, was at the origin of the fake fabricated news about Syrians slaughtering dogs and selling them as edible meat in the towns of Deir Chamra and Mayasseh (Northern Matn)… But, this time, they learned their lesson well: in the current article, there is no mention of the date of the raids, we don’t know which security agency carried out the operation and, the names of the camps and the areas where the weapons were found were omitted.
This lie is less risky than the news of the dogs where precise details (including the number of those arrested) were meant to make it seem real, contributing to the wide circulation of the fake news. However, those same details were also a prelude to its deceit.
Up until now, no security service has announced finding weapons in the camps, knowing that they – as we believe – would not hesitate for a second to declare and celebrate it, if it happened.
