وحده محافظ النبطية بالتكليف حسن فقيه، قادر على تحديد الفرق في الضرر والخطورة والتداعيات بين الدراجات النارية التي يستعملها اللاجئون/ات السوريون/ات، وتلك التي يستخدمها اللبنانيون/ات. هذه موهبته، على ما يبدو. 

هكذا، أصدر أمس الاثنين قراراً عنصرياً وتمييزاً، موجهاً إلى بلديات ومخاتير محافظة النبطية، يطلب منهم فيه «ضبط استعمال الدراجات النارية التي يستخدمها النازحون السوريون ومنع استخدامها في ساعات الليل في الفترة الممتدة من بعد الإفطار حتى الصباح، وتسطير محاضر ضبط بواسطة الشرطة البلدية بحق المخالفين»، وفق بيان نشرته الوكالة الوطنية للإعلام.

وهذا التدبير التعسفي ليس إلا قراراً بحظر التجول على اللاجئين/ات، في ساعات الليل، وإن كان مقنعاً بحصره بالدراجات النارية. وهو ما تفرضه بلديات كثيرة.

The Governor of Al-Nabatiyyeh Persecutes the Syrians

Only the appointed governor of Al-Nabatiyyeh, Hasan Fakih, is able to determine the difference in damage, risk and repercussions between the motorcycles used by the Syrian refugees and those used by the Lebanese people. It seems that this is his talent. 

And so forth, according to a statement published by the National News Agency, he issued yesterday, Monday, a racist and discriminatory decision and addressed it to the municipalities and mayors of Al-Nabatiyyeh, demanding them to “control the usage of motorcycles operated by the displaced Syrians, prevent their use at night hour in the period from after Iftar until morning, and record seizure reports by the municipal police against the violators”.

This arbitrary measure is nothing but a decision to ban the Syrians from roaming around at night, even if it was disguised as restricting it to motorcycles, which is imposed by numerous municipalities.
