بعد أيام قليلة من توقيع نقيب المحامين في بيروت ناضر كسبار اتفاقية مع الهيئة الوطنية لشؤون المرأة اللبنانية تنص في أحد بنودها على «التعاون بغية نشر الوعي بخصوص حقوق المرأة، وتعزيز قدرات المحاميات والمحامين في التعامل مع قضايا المرأة»، قرر التعبير عن موقف ذكوري ومخز بشأن العنف الممارس على النساء في أسرهن. وسلاحه في ذلك لم يكن إلا التشكيك. وماذا يكون غير ذلك؟
لا يرى النقيب، في كلمته في ندوة عن «إشكالية العنف الأسري بين الواقع والقانون»، التي عقدت في 30 آذار 2023، أن العنف ضد النساء بكل أشكاله سائد فعلاً. بل يسأل عن إمكانية تسلبط النساء على أنفسهن، بالكذب وضرب النفس، وتخيّل تعرضهن للتحرش، من الأب مثلاً، في مثال ممتاز ومقلق عن ذهنية أبوية مهيمنة.
لكن لماذا قد تفتعل النساء هذا العنف الذاتي؟ يرد نقيب العار المسألة إلى المال، طبعاً.
لا نعرف كيف يختار المحامون/ات نقيبهم/ن في بيروت، لكنهم/ن بالتأكيد يختارون الأسوأ.
ما يلي التساؤلات والأفكار المخزية التي طرحها كسبار:
مسألة العنف الأسري من أخطر المسائل على الإطلاق في العلاقة بين أفراد العائلة الواحدة. إذ ماذا يمنع أحد الأفراد من «التسلبط» على الآخر عن طريق الإدعاء بأنه تعرّض للضرب أو للركل أو للدفش؟ وماذا يمنعه من أن يطعن نفسه أو يضرب رأسه بالحائط ويقول بأنه يتعرّض للضرب؟
… وبعد أن كبرت مخيلة البعض في تدبير المكائد. فتأتينا الشكاوى بأن الأب تحرش بإبنته. كل ذلك بقصد الأذى والإستفادة من هذه الإدعاءات الكاذبة، لتنال المرأة مكاسب ومبالغ لم تكن لتنالها لو اكتفت بعرض وقائع علاقة عادية مع زوجها.
The President of the Beirut Bar Association disbelieves abuse against women
A few days after the head of the Beirut Bar Association, Nader Kasbar, signed an agreement with the National Commission for Lebanese Women, stipulating in one of its clauses the “cooperation in order to spread awareness regarding women’s rights, and enhancing the potentiality of both female and male lawyers in dealing with women’s matters”, he decided to express his sexist and despicable opinion regarding the violence against women in their families. His rebuttal was nothing but mistrust. What else would it be?
During his speech at a seminar on the “issue of the domestic violence between the reality and the law”, which was held on the 30th of March 2023, the president declared that he does not believe that the violence against women, in all its forms, is actually prevalent. But rather, he asked about the possibility of women actually stirring themselves up, through deception and self-flagellation, and the vision of them being harassed, by the father for instance, in an excellent and agitating example about the dominant patriarchal mindset.
But why would women perpetrate this self-abuse? Of course, according to the representative of shame, the matter in question is all about money.
We haven’t got the faintest idea of how the lawyers choose their president, but we surely know that they choose the worst of them all.
What follows are the disgraceful and low questions and thoughts raised by Kasbar:
The issue of domestic violence is one of the most dangerous issues ever raised in the relationships between the members of the same family. What would prevent any person from “falsely instigating” against someone by claiming that they were beaten, kicked, or pushed? What would prevent any one from stabbing oneself or banging his head against the wall and then asserting that they are being subjected to physical violence?
…After the imagination of some has grown to scheming, we receive complaints like, for example, a father harassing his own daughter. All of this has the intention of inflicting harm and benefiting from the false allegations that give the women gains and great amounts of money, that she wouldn’t acquire just by stating the facts of her normal relationship with her husband.
