الأونروا تعاقب مدرساً فلسطينياً لتشييره فيديو

منع الأستاذ رياض مصطفى، في السابع عشر من آذار الحالي، من مزاولة عمله كمدرّس في أحد مدارس الأونروا في مخيم نهر البارد، عقاباً له على مشاركته عبر صفحته في فايسبوك فيديو لوداع والدة الشهيد إبراهيم النابلسي لابنها، الذي اغتاله العدو الإسرائيلي في نابلس، في شهر آب من العام الماضي.

وبانتظار إجراء تحقيق معه، يُحدد في ختامه مصيره المهني، طلبت الأونروا منه تسليم بطاقته. وحتى الآن، لم يبلغ بموعد هذا التحقيق.

وفيما اعتبرت الأونروا نشر الفيديو تجاوزاً وتحريضاً على الكراهية وخرقاً للحيادية، انطلقت الاحتجاجات في المخيمات الفلسطينية في لبنان رفضاً للقرار التعسفي، وأُعلن الإضراب العام في نهر البارد، اليوم الاثنين، وقد غُيّر اسم المدرسة التي كان يعمل فيها مصطفى من «المنارة» إلى «مدرسة الشهيد إبراهيم النابلسي». فهل أصبح الوقوف ضد الاحتلال خرقاً للحيادية فعلاً؟

The UNRWA punishes a Palestinian teacher for sharing a video

Riad Mustafa, a teacher at one of the UNRWA schools at Naher Al-Bared, was prevented, on the 17th of March, from practicing his work, as a form of punishment for sharing on his Facebook page, a video of the farewell of the mother of the Martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi  to her son, who was assassinated by the Israeli enemy army in Nablus, in August, last year. 

While waiting for an investigation to be held with him, where at the end of the process the fate of his profession will be determined, he was asked by the UNRWA to hand over his card. 

And up until now, the date of this investigation is yet to be set. 

While the UNRWA considered the publication of the video a transgression, an incitement to hatred and a violation of objectivity, protests were sparked in Palestinian camps, in Lebanon, in refusal of such an arbitrary decision, and a general strike was declared in Naher Al-Bared today, Monday, where the Name of “Al-Manara” school at which Mustafa works, was altered to “The Martyr Ibrahim Al-Nabulsi’s School”. 

So, has standing in the face of the occupation, actually become a violation of neutrality?
