أجبر اللاجئون السوريون، الذين يقيمون في عقتنيت في قضاء صيدا، على مغادرة منازلهم إلى قرى مجاورة، قبل منتصف ليل السبت – الأحد، بعد توجيه إنذار لهم وتهديدهم من قبل سكان البلدة، صباح السبت.
وكان الجيش قد أوقف شابين من الجنسية السورية، من المقيمين في البلدة، بعد الاشتباه بدورهما بارتكاب جريمة، في 24 تشرين الثاني الحالي، أودت بحياة شاب يبلغ من العمر 17 عاماً.
لم تكن هذه الجريمة، البشعة، إلا ذريعة لتبرير ممارسات عنصرية، سائدة، تجاه اللاجئين السوريين، بتحميلهم دفعة واحدة لا مسؤولية ما جرى في عقتنيت فحسب، بل كل ما حصل وسيحصل في لبنان من جرائم وتعديات وأزمات.
الجريمة الثانية، التي بدأت في عقتنيت من دون أن تجد من يردعها، بتهجير اللاجئين مجدداً، رغم انتشار الجيش فيها، لم يلزمها غير ساعات قليلة لتصبح خطاباً عاماً يجرم اللاجئين ويحرض ضدهم. وهذه عينة:
«بشاعة هذه الجريمة تعود لتؤكد أكثر فأكثر وجود حالة تفلت على صعيد الأمن الاجتماعي من خلال أعمال السرقة والتعدي على أملاك الناس من قبل نازحين سوريين. هذا الأمر يجعلنا نطالب الدولة بالإسراع في إنهاء هذا الملف وإعادة النازحين السوريين إلى ديارهم لكي نعيد التوازن الاجتماعي في بلدنا وقرانا حيث نسمع كل يوم بجريمة من هذا النوع…».

A crime after another in Aaqtanit
The Syrian refugees, who reside in the district of Saida, were forced to leave their houses to neighboring villages, before Saturday midnight, after they were warned and menaced by the residents of the town, on Saturday morning.
The army had arrested two young Syrians residing in the town, after they were suspected of committing a crime, on the 24th of November, which took the life of a 17-year-old boy.
This crime was nothing but an excuse to justify prevalent racist actions against Syrian refugees, by holding them, altogether, responsible for not only what happened in Aaqtanit, but also for all that has happened and will happen in Lebanon in terms of crimes, transgressions and crises.
The second crime, that commenced in Aaqtanit without finding anyone to inhibit it, by displacing the refugees once more, despite the expansion of the army around the town, only took a few hours to become a public speech that criminalizes the refugees and incites against them. The hideousness of this crime growingly confirms the presence of a state of insecurity in the matter of social stability, through acts of robbery and invasion of people’s properties by Syrian emigrants. This makes us urge the government to swiftly finalize its work on the file, in order for Syrian emigrants to return to their homes, so we can restore the social balance of our cities and villages, where we hear of such crimes on a daily basis..”
